Vision Statement:
The Greenwich Twp. Police Department has adopted the following vision for the 21st Century:
The Greenwich Twp. Police Dept. is proud to announce the implementation of the Gloucester County Special Needs Registry. The Special Needs Registry was created by the Gloucester County Chiefs Association and Gloucester County Prosecutor's Office.
The Gloucester County Special Needs Registry is a voluntary service open to all citizens with special needs who reside, attend school or are employed in Gloucester County. The registry was created to help police officers and other emergency service personnel better assist residents with special needs in the event of an emergency by providing first responders with vital information regarding a registrant’s special needs, emergency contact information, physical description and current photograph of registrant.
All information provided on the registry will remain strictly confidential and will only be utilized by first responders during times of emergency.
Greenwich Township residents can register online via the link below (Citizen Services Portal) or by submitting a paper application to the Police Department. For more information, please contact the Police Department.

The Greenwich Township Police Department has been utilizing Body Worn Cameras (BWC’s) in our daily patrol functions since August of 2015. The BWC’s are used in conjunction with the in-car video cameras that are installed in all patrol vehicles. We are currently in compliance with the recently revised and updated Attorney General’s Directive 2021-5.
The Greenwich Township Police Department utilizes the BWX-100 camera made by SF Mobile Vision Inc. The BWX-100 camera affixes to the front of an officer’s outer vest carrier or their outer most garment. As shown in the below photographs. We want to remind the public cameras will be utilized by our officers during patrol as well as interactions with citizens.
